I’ve been to the Bon Jovi concert in Bucharest and I second what Jon wrote on his Facebook page: “AMAZING!”
Despite the fact that the band has lately been haunted by bad luck, with Jon going under knee surgery and Richie Sambora checking into rehab, it was plain to see that last night in Bucharest would be great when the band begun playing "Raise your hands". Three short hours: this is how long it took Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, David Bryan and Tico Torres to play well-known band's hits. The world has heard the live in the last 30 years, but it was a first for Romanian fans. "It was an incredible show and it's definitely worth the wait", Jon posted on his Facebook page, shortly after the concert ended.

From 8 pm onwards, Bon Jovi managed to set the downtown stage on fire, lighting up the sould of the already ignited bodies by the 40 degrees Celsius temperature. He got a hand from 50.000 people playing the part of backing vocals for exactly 180 minutes, the duration of the concert. The magic started with the first song, "Raise your hand", and was catalysed by evergreens like "You give love a bad name" or "Runaway".

"I hope it's hot enough for you. I will try to heat up the things", joked around between two songs Jon Bon Jovi, whose blue shirt turned black with the sweat.

Energetic songs of the first hour were followed by "Bed of roses", song that appealed to everybody's hearts and voices. The moment got Romanian nuances, as Jon Bon Jovi took a Romanian flag with the name of the band across it and wrapped it on his shoulders, around his neck. Minutes later it was the moment for Richie to be in the spotlight and the crowd began to sing him "Happy Birthday" since he turned 52 yesterday.
After two hours, "Keep the faith" ended the setlist prepared for the Bucharest concert, but the fans kept asking for more and cheered the band back into playing an encore. Bon Jovi embraced the crowd with his ever-lasting voice and brought to life songs like "Wanted", "Blood on Blood", "Livin' on a prayer", and "Always". A good choice to end the concert with was the Beatles' cover "Twist and shout".
On 11 pm sharp, members of the band bowed in front of the Romanian crowd and promised to come back asap.
